Sarah Jane Smith

Sarah Jane Smith was played by Elizabeth Sladen and was one of the closest companions the Doctor has has known. Sarah Jane was a journalist with a curious nature and the nose for a good story which usually gets her into some difficult situations. Sarah Jane has fought a wide range of enemies before return home on Earth. It was much later in her life that Sarah Jane meets the Doctor again while investigating something strange going on at a school. Sarah Jane continued to fight evil aliens in the spin-off series The Sarah Jane Adventures, from her attic and with the help of a supercomputer and K9. Sarah Jane met William Hartnell's Doctor, Patrick Troughton's Doctor, Jon Pertwee's Doctor, Tom Baker's Doctor, David Tennant's Doctor and Matt Smith's Doctor.

THE TIME WARRIOR

INVASION OF THE DINOSAURS

The Doctor and Sarah discover London is deserted and under martial law. They eventually find an army patrol, but are arrested as looters and are sent to a detention centre as prisoners. But as their journey begins, their transport comes under attack by a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Dinosaurs have invaded London! Released from captivity, the Doctor takes up his old role of UNIT’s scientific advisor in order to help try and discover why dinosaurs keep appearing and disappearing from London’s streets.

 

DEATH TO THE DALEKS

A power failure in the TARDIS draws it off course, and the Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith end up stranded on the bleak planet of Exxilon. ROBOT

The newly regenerated Doctor (Tom Baker), assisted by Sarah, Harry and the Brigadier, has to track down the theft of the components for a powerful new laser gun, and the death of a prominent politician. Sarah investigates the mysterious Think Tank, where it becomes clear that robot K-1 is being misused by its political extremist masters and the Doctor has to prevent the robot from being used to start an atomic war.

PYRAMIDS OF MARS

The TARDIS materialises on Earth in the year 1911 inside an old priory owned by Egyptologist Marcus Scarman. Scarman has been possessed by Sutekh, last survivor of the god-like Osirans, who held prisoner inside a pyramid in Egypt by a signal trasnmitted from one on Mars. Sutekh desires his freedom and instructs Scarman to construct servicer robots - which look like Eygptian mummies - to build a missile with which to destroy the Martian pyramid

THE SEEDS OF DOOM

When scientists unearth two seed pods deep in the arctic permafrost, the Doctor and Sarah Jane rush to investigate. Soon the Doctor’s worst fears are confirmed: the pods house Krynoids, one of the most parasitic and dangerous life forms in the universe. One of the creatures has already infected a scientist and now a hideous monster is rampaging through the Base, intent on total destruction.

THE MASQUE OF MANDRAGORA

The Doctor (Tom Baker) and Sarah Jane return for a visit to Earth, only to discover that a wave of evil Mandragora energy has hitched a ride on the TARDIS and is now being used to plunge mankind back into the dark age. They have to thwart not only the murderous count, but also prevent the mad monk Heironymous and the Cult of Demnos from unleashing the Mandragora Helix on mankind.

THE HAND OF FEAR

After Sarah Jane becomes trapped under tons of rock in a quarry, she eventually emerges clutching a mysterious fossilized hand. What supernatural hold does this strange appendage have over her… and what of the alien creature it becomes?
