STARGATE SG-1: THE ARK OF TRUTH

Written and directed by Robert C. Cooper, this direct-to-video release concludes the Stargate SG-1's Ori story. This release takes the place of the series' anticipated but cancelled 11th series, and is set chronologically before Stargate Atlantis' fourth series. In this release, SG-1 tries to reclaim the Ark of Truth, which has the power to control people, and therefore, can lead to total destruction.

STARGATE SG-1: CONTINUUM

This second feature-length film based in the STARGATE SG-1 universe, a follow-up to STARGATE - THE ARK THE TRUTH, finds the SG-1 crew attending the execution of the nefarious Ba'al, the supposed final System Lord. When Teal'c and Vala suddenly evaporate into thin air, however, the rest of the crew heads back to Earth as quickly as possible in hopes to get to the bottom of their bizarre disappearances. What they find is worse than they could have ever imagined.

STARGATE SG-1: SEASON 10 BOX SET

This sci-fi series really goes where no one has gone before. Though it's not as ingrained in the public consciousness as STAR TREK and its spin-offs, STARGATE SG-1 outlasted each of the shows in the Gene Roddenberry universe, making it to a landmark ten series. Like in the film STARGATE, the SG-1 team uses stargates to travel the universe, exploring the stars as they fight the Goa'uld, the Replicators, and the Ori.

STARGATE SG-1: SEASON 9 BOX SET

The SG-1 forms alliances and friendships throughout the universe, while battling their enemies and dealing with the bureaucratic forces on home base

STARGATE: THE MOVIE

This special edition version adds approximately seven minutes of additional footage, much of which is in the form of slightly extended scenes, but does also include an opening sequence in Ancient Egypt, a scene with Kurt Russell and the fossilised Horus guards, and Ra's bath scene. These are also collected in a bonus "Promo Reel". The anamorphic widescreen presentation of the 2.35:1 Panavision picture looks sharp and clear, although some of the additional footage is degraded; the sound is suitably spectacular 5.1 or DTS. Devlin and Emmerich provide a relaxed, chatty commentary ("We have nothing to do with the TV series"!), although you have to access this from the Set Up menu not the Special Features menu. There's a photo gallery and trailer, but sadly no "making-of" documentary

This Stargate, though, isn't on Earth but in the far-away Pegasus Galaxy, and the secret city holds a formidable new enemy--the Wraith. This release includes the complete series.
