THE REIGN OF TERROR

The last episode from the first season. While trying to return to 1960s London the Doctor, Ian), Barbara and Susan discover themselves in eighteenth century France caught up in the revolution. They are arrested as traitors and Barbara and Susan are sentenced to death. The Doctor takes on the disguise of a leading revolutionary and must outwit his enemies to become reunited with his companions and save Barbara and Susan.

PLANET OF THE GIANTS

The TARDIS doors open while the ship is still in flight by accident. Although they have arrived back on Earth in the 1960s, a time they have been trying to return to since they all met, the travellers soon realise that something is very wrong. The Doctor, Ian, Barbara and Susan discover that they have all be reduced in size and the world they are now exploring has dangers at every turn…

THE DALEK INVASION OF EARTH

The Tardis materialises in London sometime after the year 2164. Dalek invaders are now ruling the Earth with the aid of humans converted into zombie-like Robomen, but they are opposed by a group of resistance fighters led by the wheelchair-using Dortmun. The travellers discover that the Daleks have established a huge mine in Bedfordshire, their aim being to remove the Earth’s core using a huge bomb and replace it with a powerful drive system so that they can pilot the planet around the galaxy.

Two episodes taken from the Doctor Who series. In 'The Rescue' the Tardis lands on the planet Dido and the Doctor discovers two humans trapped in a spacecraft. In 'The Romans' the Doctor and his colleagues are in danger in Italy in 64AD.

THE WEB PLANET

One of the most widely-watched of all the '60s-era Doctor Who serials, The Web Planet (1965) puts the first Doctor and his companions in the middle of a war between two alien races--the moth-like Menoptra and a hostile race of ant creatures known as Zarbi--for possession of the planet Vortis

THE CRUSADE (VHS only)

In 'The Crusade', the Doctor (William Hartnell), Ian, Barbara and Vicki become embroiled in the political machinations of King Richard the Lionheart after landing in 12th century Palestine. Only episodes 1 and 3 of this story still exist in the BBC archives, so the gaps are filled in by the Doctor's companion, Ian Chesterton (William Russell).

THE SPACE MUSEUM

The TARDIS jumps a time track and the travellers arrive on the planet Xeros. There they discover their own future selves displayed as exhibits in a museum established as a monument to the Galactic conquests of the warlike Morok invaders who now rule the planet. When time shifts back to normal, they realise that they must do everything they can to try to avert this potential future.

THE CHASE

The travellers are forced to flee in the TARDIS when they learn from the Time/Space Visualiser taken from the Moroks' museum that a group of Daleks equipped with their own time machine are on their trail with orders to exterminate them.

THE TIME MEDDLER

Set in England back in 1066, on the eve of the Battle of Hastings, The Time Meddler sees the Doctor drawn to a monastery where a single monk resides. So how come the singing of the monks can be heard from far away? And what’s the reasoning behind the modern utensils he discovers? All paths lead to the aforementioned Butterworth, whose character’s backstory adds a nice twist to the story. The Time Meddler throws in the backstory of Jamie discovering the world of time travel for the first time, but it’s the sparring between Hartnell and Butterworth that provides the sparks.

The local dentist is Doc Holliday, currently engaged in a feud with the Clanton family. Lawmen Wyatt Earp and Bat Masterson are meanwhile doing their best to keep the peace.

THE WAR MACHINES

A classic four-part adventure. The TARDIS arrives in London in 1966 and the Doctor and his assistant Dodo visit the Post Office Tower. There they meet Professor Brett who's invented a revolutionary new computer called the WONTAN (Will Operating Thought Analogue), which is capable of independent thought. Soon enough though, in the manner of newly sentient computers everywhere, the WONTAN decides that humans are inferior and that it's time for machines to rule over them and sets about constructing a fleet of war machines to take over the world.
